Sodium Chlorite for DRINKING WATER : When put in an acid solution, sodium chlorite breaks down into chlorine dioxide. When added to a municipal water supply, chlorine dioxide helps control unwanted tastes and odors. It also aids in the removal of ions like iron and manganese. One added benefit is that it helps eliminate trihalomethanes in drinking water.

As a textile-bleaching agent, sodium chlorite is effective with various fibers. It can be used on cotton, bast fibers, and man-made fibers like nylon, Perlon, Dralon, and Rhovyl. It has an oxidizing effect on many of the natural waxes and pectins found in cellulose fibers. It helps solubilize them and makes the fiber more even and workable. It has the added benefit of destroying natural color matter without attacking the fibers themselves. This makes it useful for making permanent white fabrics without compromising tensile strength.

Sodium chlorite can be combined with citric acid for antimicrobial treatment. This treatment can be used on meats, poultry, fish, fruits and vegetables. It can be applied in food and water treatments to kill various microbial and parasites without eliminating healthy bacteria needed by our digestive system.

Sodium chlorite is also used for various industrial applications. It controls microbial contamination in industrial cooling systems and towers. It is used in place of chlorine in industrial ammonia plants because it does not react negatively with ammonia. Since it is an oxidizer, it is often a part of flue gas scrubber systems. Food-processing companies use it for washing fruits and vegetables because it is a fungicide. Meat and poultry are also washed with a solution, as is food processing equipment. Finally, it is an anti-mildew agent in detergent compositions and has been used in toothpaste and contact lens solutions.

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is the only germicidal agent composed only of water and oxygen. Like ozone, it kills disease organisms by oxidation! For this reason, Hydrogen peroxide is considered the world’s safest all natural effective sanitizer.

Note: 

1. Cuts and infections

Soak any infections or cuts in 3% for five to ten minutes several times a day. Even gangrene that would not heal with any medicine has been healed by soaking in Hydrogen peroxide. Put half a bottle of hydrogen peroxide in your bath to help rid boils, fungus or other skin infections.

2. Rejuvenating Detoxifying Bath

Use about 2 quarts 3% Hydrogen peroxide to a tub of warm water. Soak at least 1/2 hour, adding hot water as needed to maintain a comfortable water temperature.

3. Foot Fungus

To cure a foot fungus, simply spray a 50/50 mixture of Hydrogen peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let dry.

4. Bird Mites Infections

Patients infected by tiny mites report that hydrogen peroxide effectively kills the mites on their skins. They spray it on their skin a couple of times (with a few minutes in between the applications) with amazing results.

5. Sinus Infections

A tablespoon of 3% Hydrogen peroxide added to 1 cup of non-chlorinated water can be used as a nasal spray. Depending on the degree of sinus involvement, one will have to adjust the amount of peroxide used.

6. Wound Care

3% H2O2 is used medically for cleaning wounds, removing dead tissue, and as an oral debriding agent. Peroxide stops slow (small vessel) wound bleeding/oozing, as well.

Some sources recommend soaking wounds for five to ten minutes several times a day. However, washing and rinsing action is sufficient. You shouldn’t leave the solution on open tissue for extended periods of time as, like many oxidative antiseptics, Hydrogen peroxide causes mild damage to tissue in open wounds. Therefore it is important to use with caution.

Personal Care

7. Mouthwash

Many people don’t realize that hydrogen peroxide makes a very effective and inexpensive mouthwash. Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. You will not have canker sores and your teeth will be whiter. Use 3% H2O2 – add a dash of liquid chlorophyll for flavoring if desired.

8. Toothpaste

Use baking soda and add enough 3% H202 to make a paste.

9. Toothbrush

Or, just dip your brush in 3% H202 and brush. Soak your toothbrush in Hydrogen peroxide to keep them free of germs.

10. Tooth Ache

Hydrogen peroxide is not a pain killer; however, as an anti-viral, antibacterial and anti-fungal agent, it is effective at treating the pathogen that is causing the infection. The following is from my own personal experience: My dentist wanted to give me a root canal some time ago as one tooth was inflamed and, in her opinion, would die. I felt some discomfort but told her that I would give it chance to heal. I rinsed with hydrogen peroxide (several times a day) as well ascoconut oil (once a day). The discomfort went away and I have had no further problems with the tooth.

If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a dentist right away, put a capful of 3% Hydrogen peroxide into your mouth and hold it for 10 minutes several times a day. The pain will lessen greatly.

11. Tooth Whitening

Having used 3% Hydrogen peroxide as a mouth wash for sometime ago, I am thrilled to note that my teeth have been beautifully and effortlessly whitened. I used to pay so much for professional whitening, those silly strips and uncomfortable trays. Live and learn.

12. Douche

Add 2 capfuls of 3% Hydrogen peroxide in warm distilled water once to twice a week to remove even chronic yeast infections.

13. Colonic or Enema

For a colonic, add 1 cup (8 ozs.) 3% H202 to 5 gallons warm water. (Do not exceed this amount) For an enema, add 1 tablespoon of 3% H202 to a quart of warm distilled water.

14. Hair Lightening

Peroxide is a bleaching agent and is used for lightened hair. Dilute 3% Hydrogen peroxide with water (50 / 50) and spray the solution on your wet hair after a shower and comb it through. You will not have the peroxide burnt blonde hair like the hair dye packages, but more natural highlights if your hair is a light brown, faddish, or dirty blonde. It also lightens gradually so it’s not a drastic change.

15. Contact Lenses

Hydrogen peroxide is used as a disinfectant in CIBA Vision’s Clear Care no rub contact lens cleaning solution, due to its ability to break down the proteins that build up on the lense from the eye’s immune response, resulting in increased comfort for those with sensitive eyes.

Sanitizing / Disinfectant / Cleaning

16. In the Dishwasher

To disinfect your dishwasher, add 2 oz. of 3% Hydrogen peroxide to your regular washing formula.

17. Kitchen/Household surfaces

Clean your counters and table tops with hydrogen peroxide to kill germs and leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you wipe, or spray it on the counters.

Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of 3% Hydrogen peroxide and water and keep it in every bathroom to disinfect without harming your septic system like bleach or most other disinfectants will. After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour or spray hydrogen peroxide (and then vinegar) on it to kill salmonella and other bacteria.

Keep a spray bottle of 3% (straight) to disinfect the interior of the refrigerator and kids’ school lunch boxes. You can also use hydrogen peroxide to clean glass and mirrors with no smearing. Use it in the bathroom to sanitize the counters, toilets, floors, etc.

Directions: It is best to use two spray bottles rather than mixing the solutions together. Put straight vinegar in one and straight Hydrogen peroxide in the other spray bottle. When you want to sanitize a surface (cutting board, counters, sink, cages, toys, toilets, floors, etc.) spray one mixture on the surface, then the other. When they mix, for a brief time the chemical action of the two make a very powerful sanitizer. You can rinse off the surface afterwards. This applies for kitchen surfaces as well as vegetable and food decontamination.

18. Humidifiers/Steamers

To clear the air, use 1 pint 3% hydrogen peroxide to 1 gallon of water in a humidifier or steamer.

19. Washing/Laundry

You can also add a cup of hydrogen peroxide instead of bleach to a load of whites in your laundry to whiten them. If there is blood on clothing, pour directly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a minute, then rub it and rinse with cold water. Repeat if necessary.

Peroxide is a perfect alternate solution to keep those clothes white. Also, when chlorinating clothes, they tend to wear out faster – peroxide won’t do that.

20. Laundry / Stain Removing

3% Hydrogen peroxide is an effective stain remove if it is used fairly soon after a spill – although blood stains as old as 2 days have been successfully lifted with Hydrogen Peroxide. If a little peroxide is poured onto the stain it will bubble up in the area of the blood, due to a reaction with catalase. After a few minutes the excess liquid can be wiped up with a cloth or paper towel and the stain will be gone.

3% H2O2 must be applied to clothing before blood stains can be accidentally “set” with heated water. Cold water and soap are then used to remove the peroxide treated blood.

Please note: Hydrogen peroxide will bleach or discolor many fabrics.

Food Preparation

21. Food preparation/decontamination

Combination of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide make a cheap, effective and non-toxic disinfectant agent and is said to be more effective at killing pathogens than bleach. As it is non-toxic, you can use it to cleanse cooking and food preparation areas (as well as fruits and vegetables – see #24). In tests run at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, pairing Vinegar and Hydrogen Peroxide mists, kills virtually all Salmonella, Shigella, or E. coli bacteria on heavily contaminated food and surfaces.

22. Vegetable Soak

Use as a vegetable wash or soak to kill bacteria and neutralize chemicals. Add 1/4 cup 3% H2O2 to a full sink of cold water. Soak light skinned (light lettuce) 20 minutes, thicker skinned (like cucumbers) 30 minutes. Drain, dry and refrigerate. Prolongs freshness.

If time is a problem, spray vegetables (and fruits) with a solution of 3%. Let stand for a few minutes, rinse and dry.

23. Meat Sanitizing

You can also use it to rinse off your meat before cooking.

24. Leftover tossed salad

To help keep leftover salads, spray with a solution of 1/2 cup water and 1 Tbsp. 5%. Drain, cover and refrigerate.

25. Marinade

Place meat, fish or poultry in a casserole (avoid using aluminium pans). Cover with a dilute solution of equal parts of water and 3% H202. Place loosely covered in refrigerator for 1/2 hour. Rinse and cook.

26. Sprouting Seeds

Add 1 ounce 3% Hydrogen peroxide to 1 pint of water and soak the seeds overnight. Add the same amount of hydrogen peroxide each time you rinse the seeds.

Grades of Hydrogen Peroxide

A) 3.5% Pharmaceutical Grade: This is the grade sold at your local drugstore or supermarket. This product is not recommended for internal use. It contains an assortment of stabilizers which shouldn’t be ingested. Various stabilizers include: acetanilide, phenol, sodium stanate and tertrasodium phosphate.

B) 6% Beautician Grade: This is used in beauty shops to color hair and is not recommended for internal use.

C) 30% Reagent Grade: This is used for various scientific experimentation and also contains stabilizers. It is also not for internal use.

D) 30% to 32% Electronic Grade: This is used to clean electronic parts and not for internal use.

E) 35% Technical Grade: This is a more concentrated product than the Reagent Grade and differs slightly in that phosphorus is added to help neutralize any chlorine from the water used to dilute it.

F) 35% Food Grade: This is used in the production of foods like cheese, eggs, and whey-containing products. It is also sprayed on the foil lining of aseptic packages containing fruit juices and milk products. THIS IS THE ONLY GRADE RECOMMENDED FOR INTERNAL USE.

G) 90%: This is used as an oxygen source for rocket fuel.

Procedure of Test

This procedure uses a wavelength of 420 nm and a cell with a light path of approximately 10-mm. First prepare a calibration curve for the photometer using successive dilutions of the sulfate standard to adequately cover the range of sulfate in the samples to be tested.  The dilutions of the standard should be treated in exactly the same manner as that shown below for analysis of the water samples.  Using a 50-ml plastic graduate, add 50 ml of sample to a 125-ml glass flask. Pipet 10 ml of glycerol sulfate solution into the flask and swirl the solution. Pipet 5 ml of distilled water into the flask, swirl the solution and use this solution to set the photometer at zero absorbance. Discard the solution and rinse the flask with distilled water. Into a second 50-ml sample, pipet 10 ml of glycerol sulfate solution and swirl. Adjust the temperature of the sample to 70 to 75F, and pipet 5 ml of neutral barium chloride solution into the same flask. Stir the solution by rotating a rubber paddle between the palms at moderate speed for exactly five seconds. Wait exactly five minutes, and then measure the absorbance on the photometer. 

Calculation of Results  The sulfate concentration in parts per million as SO4  is obtained by reference to the prepared sulfate calibration curve. 

Limitations of Test 

Color or large amounts of suspended matter will interfere with this method,  but some suspended matter may be removed by filtration. Also the presence of color and suspended matter is compensated for to some extent by the blank determination. Silica in excess of 500 ppm will interfere, and in samples containing large amounts of organic material, it may not be possible to precipitate barium sulfate satisfactorily.

ALKALINITY Titration Method for Boiler & Cooling Water ( TITRIMETRIC METHOD 0-200 PPM )

The presence of alkalinity in a water sample may be due to many different substances.  However, for the sake of simplicity, the presence of bicarbonate, carbonate, and hydroxide ions is commonly considered as alkalinity.  The points of change in colour of phenolphthalein and methyl orange indicators, which occur at pH 8.3 and pH 4.3 provide standard reference points which are almost universally used to express alkalinity.

Application: 

Alkalinity Titrimetric Method (0-200 ppm) 

Principle Theory

This test is based on the determination of alkalinity by titration with standard acid to the phenolphthalein color change (or to a pH of 8.3) and to the methyl orange color change (or a pH of 4.3).  For determination of hydroxide alkalinity only, barium chloride is added prior to titration to precipitate the carbonate ions.  Titration is then taken only to the phenolphthalein end point.  A pH meter may be used instead of the indicators to determine the end points of the titration.

Testing Procedure

Phenolphthalein (P) and Methyl Orange (M) Alkalinity.

Measure 50 ml of sample into a graduated cylinder and transfer to the casserole.  Add four or five drops of phenolphthalein indicator.  If P alkalinity is present, the sample will turn red.  Add standard 0.02N sulfuric acid from the buret, drop by drop, until the last trace of red color is removed by a single drop.  Record volume of titrant added as the P alkalinity reading. 

Add four drops of methyl orange indicator (if no red color developed on the addition of the phenolphthalein indicator, proceed directly to this point) Continue adding acid dropwise until a change in color from yellow to salmon pink occurs.  Record the total volume (including titrant added for the P reading) as the M alkalinity.  In some cases where the methyl orange color change may be difficult to detect, methyl purple indicator may be used in place of the methyl orange.  The methyl purple color change is from green to gray to purple, with the endpoint being the first change to a definite purple. 

In place of indicators, a pH meter may be used for the titration.  The P alkalinity reading is taken to be the volume of titrant required to bring the solution to a pH 8.3 while the M reading is taken as the volume required to bring the pH to 4.3.  The pH meter should be calibrated prior to use according to manufacturers instructions.  The buffers used for standardization should be within the 4.3 to 8.3 pH range. 

Hydroxide Alkalinity 

Measure 50 ml of sample into  the  graduated  cylinder and transfer to the casserole.  Using the pipet, add 5 ml of barium chloride and stir vigorously.  Add four to five drops of phenolphthalein indicator and stir.  If the sample does not turn red, hydroxide alkalinity is not present.  If the sample turns red, add 0.02N hydrochloric acid dropwise until the color changes from red to colorless.  Record the volume of titrant delivered.

Results Calculation FORMULA :::   

ppm alkalinity (as CaCO3) =   ml 0.02N sulfuric acid         x     1000  /    ml sample 

(for hydroxide alkalinity substitute ml 0.02N hydrochloric acid for ml 0.02N sulfuric acid) Using a 50 ml sample, the alkalinity becomes ml of acid titrant multiplied by 20.

Limitations of Test

Phenolphthalein (P) and Methyl Orange (M) Alkalinity

The alkalinity measured from the titration to phenolphthalein end point or P alkalinity is considered to be equivalent to the sum of all the hydroxide ion present plus one half of the carbonate ion present.  The total alkalinity by titration to the methyl orange endpoint or M alkalinity includes the other half of the carbonate ion plus any bicarbonate that was originally present.  The presence of phosphate, silica, organic or other buffers may affect the titration and the calculation of the form of alkalinity present may be in error.    

The presence of bases other than hydroxide, carbon and bicarbonate will interfere directly.
Common bases titratable by acids include sulfide (S=  ) , hydrosulfide ( HS- ), cyanide ( CN-)  and ammonia (NH3) . All these will add to the apparent concentration of one or more of the alkalinities .

measured.  Care should be exercised in interpreting alkalinities found in these water strictly in terms of scaling tendency.  However, under normal circumstances in plant control, expression of result only as the P and M alkalinity actually determined is satisfactory and is preferred from the standpoint of simplicity. 

Hydroxide Alkalinity

The method for hydroxide alkalinity is considered accurate only to within 10 per cent.  High silica, organic matter and aluminates can interfere with the determination, as will the bases mentioned above.  High sulfate content in the sample can produce turbidity which may mask the endpoint.  However, the method for hydroxide alkalinity is satisfactory for routine control and can be valuable in the control of lime-soda softening.

The dosage rate is dependent on bioler operating condition, feed 2-3 ltrs of RXSOL-50-5001-025 solution for per thousand ltr of bioler water then control the system by periodic Alkalinity test procedure. If p-Alkalinity is below 200 ppm increase the ratio of RXSOL BWT 5001 solution. If p-Alkalinity is above 400 ppm reduce the concentration of RXSOL-50-5001-025 solution by dilution with water. RXSOL-50-5001-025 is strongly alkaline.RXSOL-50-5001-025  is best applied heat or diluted with any convenient strength on a continuous basis using a suitable chemicals pump. The product should be applied to the boiler feed tank or feed line to ensure adequate mixing.

PROCEDURE for p-ALKALINITY  test ( STEP WISE ):

  1. Measure 10 ml of SAMPLE WATER in graduated TEST TUBE / CYLINDER
  2. Add 1-2 drops of  RXSOL TK7 and mix with the stirring rod , If  sample turns red / PINK ( which indicates presence of p-Alkalinity ) then follows 3rd step otherwise if sample remains colourless ( Record p-Alkalinity = 0 ) .
  3. Add RXSOL TK9  drop by drop ( by counting ) , mixing with the stirring rod until colour just disappears. Each drop is equivalent to 25 ppm of p-Alkalinity , expressed as CaCO3

RESULT  : Each DROPS is equivalent to  25 PPM of Alkalinity .

NOTE :    p-Alkalinity VALUE  =  25 X ( Total Number of DROPS of TK9 , during 3rdstep  )

        

PROCEDURE for p-ALKALINITY  & TOTAL ALKALINITY ( STEP WISE ):

  1. Measure 10 ml of SAMPLE WATER in graduated TEST TUBE / CYLINDER
  2. Add 1-2 drops of  RXSOL TK7 and mix with the stirring rod , If  sample turns red / PINK ( which indicates presence of p-Alkalinity ) then follows 3rd step otherwise if sample remains colourless ( Record p-Alkalinity = 0 ) then proceed to STEP- 4.
  3. Add RXSOL TK9  drop by drop ( by counting ) , mixing with the stirring rod until colour just disappears. Each drop is equivalent to 15 ppm of p-Alkalinity , expressed as CaCO3
  4. Add 2-3 drops of RXSOL TK8 and mix with stirring rod , the sample will turn to BLUISH-GREEN .
  5. AddRXSOL TK9 carefully by counting drop by drop and mixing throughly until a light reddish  pink  colour develop.

RESULT  : Each DROPS is equivalent to 25 PPM of Alkalinity .

Chemical feed should be continuous. Chemical pumping rates can create problems especially for neat feed set ups. Using on/off feed systems such as a recycle timer can create problems. Chemical feed pumps should be sized or product strengths should be adjusted to allow continuous feed.

Steam and carbon dioxide leave continuously, so setting up a neutralizing amine pump to feed intermittently can lead to wide variations in condensate pH control. If sampling is done from a condensate receiver, the tank volume may buffer the variations and the changes may not be noticed, but corrosion could be occurring to areas of the piping that see the rapidly changing pH.

If polymeric dispersants, phosphonates, phosphate, or chelants are fed intermittently into the feedwater using a recycle timer, and the amines are not fed continuously, a cycle of iron slugs returning in the condensate can be followed by slugs of high dispersancy cleaning of the iron from the deaerator and dragging it into the boiler.

Load changes can affect chemical concentrations when the chemical feed is base fed. Example: Steam production of one million lbs./day; 4% blowdown; 20% active boiler polymer product fed at 5 pounds per day. The calculated daily average polymer concentration would be 24 ppm. Assume peak plant production load is 60,000 lbs./hr., but during the overnight hours the load is only 5,000 lbs./hr. If the dispersant is being fed continuously over the 24 hours, during the 8- hour low load period, the boiler polymer concentration would have increased to over 200 ppm. Upon high fire when production resumes, carryover is very possible because of over concentrating the polymeric dispersant.

Chemical feed needs to be paced to steam production, especially where significant load changes occur.

Carbon dioxide can concentrate in steam and condensate making neutralizing amine treatment impractical. Carbon dioxide levels can be relatively low in steam exiting a boiler at only a few ppm, but if there are areas where it becomes “trapped” and can accumulate, concentrations can reach extremely high levels into the hundreds or even thousands of ppm.

CO2 is a non-condensable gas. It has a distribution ratio in the steam piping and condenses at points throughout the system. At the boiling point, the solubility of the gas in water is extremely low. The solubility of the CO2 is actually lower in the condensate than it is in the steam. For the CO2 to escape from the steam into the water it will accumulate in the steam space just above the water level until the partial pressure becomes high enough for the CO2 in the incoming steam to be able to exit into the condensate. This creates a steady state condition of CO2 coming in and exiting, but an area of severe localized corrosion occurs where the carbon dioxide concentration is high.

The highest CO2 concentration normally occurs just above the condensate water level. If there is an area where condensation is occurring and running down pipes or the sides of vessels, the CO2 concentration will be very high and the pH will be about 5.3 – 5.5 in that location creating high corrosion rates.

The solubility of CO2 increases dramatically as the condensate temperature falls below 212 °F. When there is an accumulation of CO2 in an area and the condensate temperature is relatively low, the amount of carbon dioxide going into solution will be extremely high. Where low-pressure steam is used that contains CO2 and the heat exchange process has relatively close temperature differentials between the steam and the condensate, there is potential for high uptake of the CO2 into the condensate and localized low pH.

Neutralizing amines are selected in an effort to condense in the right concentrations to carbon dioxide condensation levels throughout the steam system. Neutralizing amines cannot control corrosion where this localized accumulation of carbon dioxide occurs since the high CO2 overwhelms the demand for the amine. Even point source addition of amine may not be able to satisfy the demand.

Where the concentrating effect of CO2 occurs, methods of reducing the problem include eliminating or minimizing CO2 in the steam, venting off the CO2 in the localized area, eliminating condensate in the area, applying a filming amine or metal passivator, or using higher temperature steam and increasing condensate temperature to reduce the CO2 content in the condensate.

    The establishment of protective metal oxide lay-ers through the use of reducing agents (such as hydrazine, hydroquinone, and other oxygen scavengers) is known as metal passivation or metal conditioning. Although "metal passivation" refers to the direct reaction of the compound with the metal oxide and "metal conditioning" more broadly refers to the promotion of a protective surface, the two terms are frequently used interchangeably.

    The reaction of hydrazine and hydroquinone, which leads to the passivation of iron-based metals, proceeds according to the following reactions:

If these are not available give large quantities of water. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep airway clear and give more milk, gelatin solution or water, GET MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY. Avoid vomiting, lavages or acidic antidotes. NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Sodium Hypochlorite is an alkaline corrosive. For exposure by ingestion do not use emesis, lavages or acidic antidotes. Dilute immediately by giving milk, melted ice cream, beaten egg white, starch paste or antacids such as milk magnesia. Aluminum hydroxide gel or magnesium trisilicate gel.     Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical compound with the formula H2O2. It is the simplest peroxide (a compound with an oxygen-oxygen single bond) and in its pure form is a colorless liquid, slightly more viscous than water.

    Using Procedure: 

    House Hold : One of the most common uses of hydrogen peroxide is as a disinfectant. Spray it on surfaces like kitchen counter top and wipe with a clean rag. It can be used as a mouthwash too. You have to dilute the chemical with water and use it for rinsing the mouth. This mouthwash is also said to whiten teeth. Ensure that you do not swallow the liquid, while rinsing.
    It can also be used to wash vegetables and fruits, in order to get rid of germs and pesticides. Add some hydrogen peroxide to a bowl full of water (you may also add a few pinches of salt). Soak the veggies and fruits for some time. Remove them and rinse with cold water, before use.This chemical is also used to purify water in swimming pools.
     

    Agriculture : Farmers use it as an insecticide. They spray diluted form of this chemical, on plants, so that the pests and weeds get killed, without causing harm to the plants. Its also used for watering plants. Mix an ounce of this chemical with a quart of water and use it on plants. Apart from boosting the level of oxygen in the soil, this mixture is also said to prevent root rot. Some people soak seeds in it, after diluting it with water. It is said that this will fasten the process of germination. For this purpose have to mix 1.5 teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide in a cup of water.

    Textile: It acts as a stain remover. Put 1 spoon tea in 1 bucket water  and let it sit for a while. After that, rinse the stains with water and soap.

    Method Of Use:-Properly   clean  the  system  with  water  and  alkaline  liquid ,  if  necessary. Add  0 .05-0.2 %  of  RXSOL-40-4002-025  in system or recommended Nitrite level1400 – 2500 ppm can be measured and controlled  by  any standard  RXSOL test  kit  for  Nitrite, Chloride  test  also helps  to detect excess  contamination  to  maintain  accepted  levels. when the product is dosed as recommended  limit By buffering action of   RXSOL-40-4002-025   , pHshould be maintained between 8.3 and 10 by the treatment.

    Note:-Initial dosage for an untreated system is 2 Kg of RXSOL-40-4002-025 / 1000 litres of untreated distilled water. This will bring the treatment up to the minimum level of 1000 ppm nitrite.  For  best  result  and  prolonged  engine  life  add  RXSOL-40-4002-025 every  500 -6500  km. or  250  to  300 hours  of  running  time  or  every  2 month   interval.
